Ok,So we finally got into the theatre and the movie started.
The theatre was kidilan with high backed seats and soft cushions.
Short opening credits made us very happy.Then came Vikrams intro scene,him dressed as a rooster….Ok,bearable to a an extent.Weeellll,Actually unbearable, still we kept watching hoping for better things to come.Shriya made her intro scene and we were all hooting the hell away!!1
The movie dragged on with Vadivelu coming in at crucial intervals and taking the momentum away completely.At the end we just hoped kandasamy somehow killed vadivelu!!!!! Hell, There wasn’t a single scene with Vikram and Vadivelu together in 1 shot in the whole film! Bloody waste of time!!.There was a scene where he baths half naked in
Really, the plight of female leads in tamil films is quite pathetic.They are just meant to show off their skin. They have no roles of substance nor do they make any substantial difference to the plot. Exactly the case here with Shriya, she is in the plot just to walk around half-naked trying to seduce Vikram.It gets on your nerves after a while!!!
The script of the movie is so PATHETIC!!No two adjoining scenes have sense .Really one must ask Vikram why he chose to act in such a blunder of a movie!!
The Second half was poorer than the first half.I still haven’t understood why the hell Vikram went to Mexico!!Senseless scenes in beautiful locales(that is a fact) all added to our agony.There is a song in Mexico(I forget the name) ,the choreography of which is absolutely BULLSHIT.Jesus,all of us were crying after watching the song. Chrissake this is the land where the greatest choreographers in the world were born after all!!!
Then came the moment which made all (well,most of it) this effort worthwhile.”EN PERU MEENAKUMARI”,yo yo!!(The situation leading to the song is quite stupid,ull have to watch it to believe it!!)We danced our heart out for this song,making our money worthwhile.All the villain was superb in the song,doin a pole dance and all in his knickers!!!!Awesome song!!!watch it to believe it!!!Really spaaaaaar…
So we left the theatre after an extremely preachy climax in which money like 65,00,000 crores were being talked about.Jesus,there is a limit to exaggeration right!!!
We left the theatre at 11:15, from a show that was supposed to end a 9:30,pleading to the guys there not to watch this horrendous movie!!!
We walked to the bus stop hoping to catch a bus,but from the inside knew that the chances were very low.We even considered sleeping in the ATM there!!
When we finally got into the bus,we came to know about the fight going on in the college between the two parties SFI and VOC.Not wanting to be anywhere near the fight,we tried of all the alternative options for us to sleep.Finally we zeroed in on Peymari and I called Rahul and checked if we could sleep there.He sleepily said yes and we disembarked from the bus. This was at 12 in the night and our stomachs were grumbling with hunger.As an angel with food we saw hotel aryas park at Sreekaryam open.All of us literally ran towards it and asked the waiter to bring whatever was left.We ate quickly and we ate in silence savouring speech for later.
After we paid the bill we set off in search of peymari with me being the guide(!!!!!).I led them all to the middle of a coconut grove at 1 in the morning and faked I didn’t know the way.You should have seen the look in their eyes…there was MURDER written all over them.I quickly led them in the right direction save for a few minor hiccups in btw(too embarrassed to tell you abt those!!!)………
We slept there in the floor till 6 next morning and grabbed the bus back home!!
WHEW!!!!!WHAT A DAY!!!!After all this I don’t expect the name FLOPPY will ever leave me!!!

Kandasamy and its after effects:PART 1
Ok,the trailers looked great,Shriya looked hot and the posters reminded me of anniyan( Loved the movie).Also the hype about the movie was enormous.It was Vikram's only movie in two years and due to all the above mentioned factors we were all game for it.We=(Zappy,Sasi,Sthreejith,Kanthan,aj nd me)
Ok we heard from our friends that there was no chance of a ticket from trivandrum.So the only logical thing for us to do was to go to attingal.Since it was a friday nd i never spend a Friday evening in class, I left directly for idivettu(our home) nd spend the evening watchin “The Butterfly Effect”(What a movie!!!).By then Sreekanth and Ajhas had joined us and we took a bus to kazhakootam.We disembarked at kazhakootam and askd sasi nd sreejith to cum directly to attingal!!We walked half an hour in kazhakootam searching for a bus stop a t kazhakootam and by the time we got a bus my name as the FLOPPY was strengthened.If it was a flop then what would they have called me after the day!!!!I wonder…
Okay we got a bus and reached attingal.We got down and went to dreamz theatre.We caught up with sreejith and sasi there.When we went there we saw the sign SOLD OUT.
Now which F***ing theatre reserves all its tickets on the first day.We nevertheless left the issue there and went to Vaisakh the 2nd theatre where it was runnin.We reached at about 5 for the 6:30 show nd saw very few people there.Happily we stood in the line tactically.(Tactically in the sense we split up into groups with each group standing at a particular gateway)We stood in front of the gate for a quarter of a hour enduring all sorts of cigarette smoke.
At long last the gate opened and we were being hurled about as if we were in a tsunami.I rarely remember what happened there, but I saw sreekanth squeezing through the queue and zafir swinging his arms around wildly.
We got into the cave like ticket counter thinking our ordeal was over.Little did we know it was just the beginning.We kept standing in the cave with each of us trying to locate the other,After a few calls nd SMSes I got to know that ajhas and sreejith were in the front and that I needn’t take the ticket!!!!WTF???All this effort for nothing!!!!So we(me nd Sasi) stood in the cave suffocated by cigarette smoke and then suddenly saw two people moving through the air above us!!!Jesus ,they were holding the railings moving through the line.Talk about desperation of getting a ticket.I saw them stopping a few feet in front of us coz there were bigger and stronger people in front of them there.We spent about one nd a half hours inside the cave learning a lot of “Meaningful WORDS and SONGS” in the process.At last the ticket counter opened and we took tickets for the people standing beside us and got into the theatre!!!WHEW!!!!
